FEDERPESCA

FEDERPESCA was established in 1961 and since then it is a member of CONFINDUSTRIA. Associates, represents and protects more than 1.600 Italian shipowners and companies of the fishing and aquaculture sectors towards the Italian Public Administration, Italian Parliament and European Union institutions.

FEDERPESCA protects the interests of member and assists enterprises:

• In the legal, labour, economic, technical, tax, and fiscal fields
• In national and European planning
• In solving problems concerning labour relations and social legislation

It is a contracting party to the CCNL, the industry’s benchmark maritime fishing collective bargaining agreement

Together with Cgil, Cisl e Uil, is part of the National Fisheries Observatory, E.BI.PESCA and F.I.S. Pesca for the management of the regulatory institutes provided for by the Fisheries CCNL.

FEDERPESCA promotes:

• Initiatives and projects useful for the development of fishing and aquaculture enterprises
• Initiatives aimed at raising awareness in the sector on issues of marine environmental protection
• Surveys and studies in the field of research and vocational training
• Cooperation activities, agreements and MoU with associations and entities in other countries
• Internationalization activities

FEDERPESCA organizes:

• Initiatives aimed at encouraging the associationism and aggregation of fishing and aquaculture enterprises in the territories, enhancing tools such as LAGs, POs and territorial garrisons

Seminars and workshops on specific topics related to regulations, safety, labour relations, marine ecosystem, credit and product marketing
