Self-Funded Partner
Galician Innovation Agency
(GAIN)
The Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) is a regional public agency, attached to the Department of Education, Science, Universities, and Vocational Training, but with its own legal personality. Its purpose is to promote and coordinate innovation policies within the Galician public administrations, as well as to support and drive the growth and competitiveness of Galician companies through the implementation of effective innovation strategies and programs.
GAIN is the public body responsible for supporting and promoting innovation among Galician stakeholders through the implementation of innovation strategies and programs such as Galicia S3. The R&D 21-27 Plan, through which Galicia S3 is implemented in the region, aims to increase the participation of Galician innovation stakeholders, mainly SMEs, in networks and consortiums, especially those co-funded by national, European and international programs. For this purpose, GAIN has been implementing different tools and instruments aimed to support this participation, such as funding schemes, training actions or dissemination activities, and counts on staff members specifically dedicated to these activities.
