AlFunFeed at the 2nd SBEP Symposium “Full Sail Ahead Towards the Sustainable Blue Economy” in Bucharest

On 11-12 February 2026, AlFunFeed lead partner UVigo-CIM participated in the 2nd Symposium “Full Sail Ahead Towards the Sustainable Blue Economy”, organized by the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership (SBEP) in Bucharest, Romania.

After enjoying a warm welcome and authentic Romanian flavours at the opening dinner, our team engaged in a full day of insightful sessions focused on cooperation across sea basins, policy development and market uptake. 

We participated with a poster on display throughout the event and, on the second day, we had the opportunity to introduce the project activities, early results, and future plans during the kick-off meeting of projects selected through its second call for proposals.

This event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with other projects and explore potential collaborations in the coming years.

AlFunFeed at ICFA 2026: Sharing Research on Sustainable Aquaculture in Malaysia

Professor Ike Olivotto from Università Politecnica delle Marche participated in ICFA 2026 in Miri, Malaysia, where he presented the AlFunFeed project and its contribution to sustainable aquaculture. The conference provided an opportunity to share the project’s objectives with an international audience and exchange ideas with researchers and professionals from different countries.
